registrations pass the 400 mark

registrations continue to build up strongly for Umbrella 2009
and have passed the 400 mark. More than 100 speakers
have been secured to deliver the 56-session conference programme,
and the associated sell-out exhibition

packed into the two days of Umbrella is the presentation
of the Libraries
Change Lives(LCL) Award by Immediate Past Poet Laureate
and MLA Chair Andrew Motion, and a Gala
Dinner at RAF Museum at Hendon featuring journalist
and author Eve Pollard.

special Preview of Umbrella 2009 will be published in

The
issue will feature interviews, profiles and news about the latest

Throughout
the event Poster
Sessions will be presented in the exhibition area,
with two receiving awards for their efforts. CILIP will organise
a corporate exhibition stand as an informal meeting place for delegates
to get together with Facet Publishing authors, LCL Award finalists,
and members of CILIP staff.
