Anthony Beal

Anthony works in Learning Resources at West Cheshire College and has been interested in how learning technologies support the Further Education curriculum for many years. He is investigating the use of Web 2.0 and mobile learning in teaching and learning and this year co-organised a community art exhibition using Flickr.

Using web 2.0 and mobile learning to support the curriculum

In this workshop we will look at how web 2.0 applications and innovative uses of technologies can be applied to teaching(e.g. the Wii). Examples that have been piloted at West Cheshire College will be examined and the use of a "video vending machine" and mobile devices to distribute learning materials.
