Rachel
was KM Fellow, NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement (November
2007 - March 2009) . She's worked in the NHS for 22 years including
Head of Library Services and Knowledge Management and Assistant
Director of a regional library services. Currently seconded as East
of England SHA Lead for Libraries and Knowledge.
Connecting
people and knowledge: rather than collecting information
With
the publication of the “Hill Review”, Darzi and World Class Commissioning,
Knowledge Management has been brought more centre stage in the NHS.
Rachel will describe some KM developments in this sector including
the drive for each NHS organisation to have a Chief Knowledge Officer
and KM's impact on healthcare libraries.
