Sheila Webber

Sheila Webber is Senior Lecturer in Sheffield University's Department of Information Studies.  Her key interests are information literacy and learning, and she coordinates the new MA Information Literacy.  In Second Life she is Sheila Yoshikawa (pictured), owner of Infolit iSchool, where she teaches, & leads discussions for educators and librarians.

Professional Inspiration to join the communities of Second Life

This session will introduce Second Life and explore the ways in which SL is currently being adopted by library and information professionals to inspire and engage their users. Keri and Sheila will demonstrate how they have used Second Life for collaboration, Continuing Professional Development and teaching and explore what role Second Life may play in the future.
