Tim
Leach BA(Hons) DipArch Grad Dip Cons (AA) RIBA Tim leads the culture
and heritage group and is an architect director of the Living and
Learning Studio within BDP's London office. He is a regular
speaker on the creative, adaptive reuse of existing buildings, encompassing
many diverse sectors and is an architectural trustee of London's
Hampstead Garden Suburb. His current and completed projects include
the creative adaptation of both 20th Century and historically significant
listed buildings, together with the design of major new cultural
buildings. Commissions include strategic planning studies through
to the detail design and implementation of projects, encompassing
the design of new and the reordering of existing libraries, including:
Main Library and Science Library, University College London, Central
Library, Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea Tim's other public
projects include significant commissions for Cambridge University,
the Royal Albert Hall, Palace of Westminster and the British Museum,
together with; Royal Opera House, Covent Garden Europa Nostra Award
and RICS Building Conservation, RIBA and Civic Trust Awards, Kings
College London HEFCE Sustainability and RICS Conservation Awards,
Chatham Historic Dockyard Europa Nostra Medal and Deputy Prime Minister's
Award for Sustainable Communities
