becomes a Media Sponsor 
Enhanced
editorial coverage of Umbrella 2009 will be provided for the first
time by FreePint, which has become a media sponsor of CILIP's flagship
event. Prior to the two-day conference and exhibition on 14-15
July 2009, FreePint will carry editorial items based on discussions
with selected speakers. On-site coverage will be undertaken
by FreePint journalists, and a complementary Umbrella Report made
available to every delegate. FreePint joins CILIP's Gazette

is CILIP's exclusive members' magazine. It provides expert,
independent coverage of news, trends and key developments in the
library and information community. It was re-launched with
a new look, a digital edition and a blog in October 2008.
It's in-depth coverage provides CILIP members with an independent
source of information about the latest developments in the library
and information community.
Its
digital edition is published just prior to the hard copy magazine
and can be accessed via CILIP members' log-in from any computer
24/7 worldwide. It is supported by a blog, where Update's
editors comment on the issues of the day and encourage participation
and feedback.
